Roofing quote and estimating software

Roofing quote software you can run from the truck.

Measure the roof, price it from your own template, and send a quote the customer signs on their phone.

The short answer

Bestimate is roofing quote and estimating software built for one person running the whole company. You measure the roof on aerial imagery, pick one of your templates, and send a Good, Better, Best quote that the customer picks from and signs on their phone. It costs $149 a month in Canadian dollars with 3 people included, with no per-report fee and no contract. It is invite-only right now.

How a quote goes

Driveway to signed in three moves.

Measure the roof

Draw the roof on the imagery from the driveway. Measuring has no per-report fee, so you can measure every roof, won or lost. If you order an aerial report instead, that is billed per roof.

Price it from a template

Your prices, your wording, your colours. The quote comes out as three options — Good, Better and Best — so the customer chooses instead of you negotiating.

Signed on their phone

The customer picks the option and the shingle colour and signs on their own phone. The booking, the deposit and the invoice follow from the signed figures.

Who it is for

Built for one person. Honest about who it is not for.

An owner-operator with one or two crews

You quote, book and invoice yourself, usually from a phone, usually after the roofing is done for the day. The crew is the easy part; the paperwork and your time are the hard part.

A roofing company that outgrew a spreadsheet

If your quotes live in a notes app and a measuring subscription, this puts them on one screen at one price.

Not built for a big office

If you run ten crews with dispatchers and a back-office team, this is not the tool. It is built for the owner-operator with one or two crews.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

Something not here? Ask a person. Related: roofing invoicing software, all-in-one roofing software.

What is the easiest roofing quote software for a solo roofer?

Bestimate is built for exactly that person: measure the roof on aerial imagery, pick your template, and send a Good, Better, Best quote the customer signs on their phone. It is $149 a month in Canadian dollars with 3 people included, and it is invite-only while the pilot runs.

Do I need to pay for roof measurement reports?

Not to measure. You draw the roof on the imagery inside Bestimate and there is no per-report fee. If you choose to order an aerial report for a roof, that report is billed per roof.

Can my customer sign the quote on their phone?

Yes. The customer opens a link, picks an option and a shingle colour, and signs on their own phone. The price they sign is computed on the server, not typed in by anyone.

How much does roofing estimating software cost?

Bestimate is one plan: $149 a month in Canadian dollars, 3 people included, every feature on from day one, month to month. Pilot companies are free for the first 60 days.

Is Bestimate right if I only have one or two crews?

Yes, that is who it is built for. Quoting, booking and invoicing are the heavy part of your week, and the crew's side is one page and one button. It is not built for a large office with many crews and dispatchers.

Can US roofers use Bestimate?

Bestimate is built and priced in Canada, in Canadian dollars. Roofers in the US can join the invite list, and we will say plainly if it does not fit yet.
